A growing granola producer could manufacture a full day’s production in one day—but it took the following three days to package it. Their packaging process had become the bottleneck, limiting how much product they could make, sell and deliver.
What CAM Did
CAM developed a turnkey premade bagging solution to automatically package the granola into stand-up pouches. The system allowed the customer to automate packaging while continuing to operate with their existing three-person workforce.
The Result
The customer was able to move from manufacturing on one day and packaging over the next three days to manufacturing and packaging on the same day. By adding one employee, they could manufacture and package for two to three consecutive days, building inventory to support larger retail opportunities and continued business growth.
